The Salt Lake Community Bail Fund aims to post bail for all individuals in
need. Funds are sometimes limited, and in this case, administrators will
prioritize the most pressing bail requests to be posted first. Data provided
in this intake form will be used to assess request priority, and under no
circumstances will personal data be shared with any party outside the Salt
Lake Community Bail Fund administrators.
A primary goal of the Salt Lake Community Bail Fund is to dismantle the cash
bail and pre-trial detention systems in Utah. Intake data collected here may
be summarized and visualized for the purpose of educating the public about
the harms that cash bail and pre-trial detention impose on community members,
but names, booking numbers, contact information, or individual data will
never be made public.
While your responses to these questions will help achieve our long-term
goals, any question on this form may be left blank. The questions necessary
to post bail are marked with an asterisk.
